in the moisturizing class of shampoos because it is the most economical at $11.99 for 16 oz. and it contains essential fatty acids to nourish the skin. It is also hypoallergenic and therefore does not strip the coat. However, if your dog has dermatitis (inflammatory skin condition) we would recommend the Virbac Cortisoothe Shampoo.
