Rabbit Diets should have a crude protein amount of 14-16% minimum with a crude fat content below 1.5%. Timothy hay is better than alfalfa hay as alfalfa hay is too high in crude protein and minerals which can lead to obesity and bladder problems. Therefore we recommend Zupreem Rabbit Pellets 5lb because the main ingredient is sun-cured timothy hay with no preservatives or pesticides. It received the best number of reviews and is a good economical value. For baby rabbits we recommend Marshall Pet Rabbit Growth Diet 4lb
for baby rabbits under 6 months of age.
