Operation Baghdad Pups

Operation Baghdad Pups – No Buddy gets Left Behind!

Operation Baghdad Pups helps troops serving in Iraq and Afghanistan bring their adopted animal’s home to a safe and secure life. The dogs and cats befriended and cared for by the troops are a life line to military service personnel. In harsh environments like Iraq and Afghanistan life has little comforts and is far removed from normal life in the USA. These dogs and cats offer comfort to our service members and in some cases have saved their lives.

How you can you help?

Donate! Donating money to Operation Baghdad Pups will allow service members to bring their adopted animals’ home. Your donations provide the adopted dogs and cats with travel crates, vaccinations and transportation back to the states.

Why help?

Why help dogs and cats get to the states when there are so many homeless pets in the USA? The service members have relied on these animals for their emotional well-being during deployment. Service members have bonded so strongly with these animals that allowing them to continue to care for each other helps the service members with adjustments to home and deal with some of the difficulties and stress associated with events during their deployment. The animals that were adopted as puppies or kittens would not survive on the streets if left behind. They would most likely be beaten and starved.

Supporting Operation Baghdad Pups is supporting your service members that fight for our freedoms every day. No Buddy gets Left Behind!
